Supervisor Training

In the DOT Supervisor Training, supervisors will be trained about the specific requirements they need to know while looking an employee who will be performing a safety sensitive function. Whether he/she is under the influence of drugs and alcohol. If yes, what actions should they take against that employee. After taking the DOT supervisor training provided by JST Trucking Permits, supervisors will understand their role, as they are one who can make their workplace free from illegal activities. Supervisors will understand when and how to induct reasonable suspicion testing and why it is required.

Employers shall ensure that the persons engaged in training the drivers shall receive at least 60 minutes of training on use of alcohol substances and additional 60 minute of training on controlled substances use. Supervisors will understand when and how to induct reasonable suspicion testing under §382.307. This training will include the behavioural, physical, speech, and performance indicators of probable use of controlled substances and alcohol misuse.Also note that under §382.603, supervisors required DOT supervisor training if the company operates CDL vehicles on the public roads and have more than one employee in the company.
